Elena Amenedo

Psychobiology Professor at the University of Santiago de Compostela (USC), she is responsible for the neurocognitive assessment of the NUTRIAGE project.
Throughout her research career, centred on the study of the neurocognitive correlates of aging, she went on several research visits abroad and in Portugal. She is part of two groups of the Cognitive Neuroscience Thematic Network, financed by the Ministry of Education and Science.
She is a member of the Cognitive Neuroscience Group in the area of Neurosciences of the Health Investigation Institute (IDIS) of Santiago de Compostela, and has been invited by the General Secretary of Social Policy, Xunta de Galicia, as an expert in aging of the research group of the USC.
